Is that any thing like "hooters"? hehe One might ask.....Loved the sketch today Rox. You did it again! Amazing! Week after week you come up with these fun make you think sketches. For that I thank you.
I thought my day was headed for trouble. It started off when after my shower I thought I was spraying detangler conditioner on my hair, when in fact it was hair spray, firm hold! AND hold it did. I thought I'd never get the tangles out. Next time I think I will put my glasses on before spraying. hehe You know, if I was a "tweeter" I could have "tweeted" this.....my card....
Had to flip the sketch a tad since the Whipper Snapper image was going the other way. Stamped the birdies, colored with prisma pencils then cut out.
Panel 2, masked and sponged the edge for my tree, drew in the bark lines cut a slit to connect my birdies on a branch to the tree. BUT first sponged the grass then they sky. Used a scrubby pad for the sky part. Cut out a cloud from a die cut, sponged the bottom part and doodled, then popped up. Put the birdies on popping up parts.
Panel 1, stamped Recollection fun borders on the edges clear eb. Sponged on sunshine yellow, then butterscotch then sunset orange. Put this on a kraft card that I sponged the edges with vintage photo.
Popped up the image panel and said WOW! I think I like this!
Well hope your day went well.....TFL :0)

Cathy, I'm so sorry, I have to confess, I should have been sober and sympathetic reading about the mixup in the shower, but I did smile, and had just a wee chuckle - sorry!
You achieved some pretty amazing depth of color and fabulous borders here - love your Mutnik tree - not sure if they grow over here in these parts : ) I like how that branch goes out of the box! Fun card!

Unlike Bridget - I actually laughed out loud when I read of your mix up in the shower! Oh Cathy - I know oh so much about try to tame coiffures!! MINE!!!!! I'm sure I've washed my hair with conditioner before and heaven knows what else I've done. Ohh as always, your card is so bright and fun and darling!!! Mutnik - you should frame every one that you make!! Oh so darling!!! I think those birds are either gossiping - why- it's Anne Ryan disguised as a bird, gossiping away with .......... they are so many suspects, I'm not sure!!!:0

Awesome card - love the colors and the frame around the cute birds. How awful about the mix-up on the conditioner. Before I got all my hair cut, I had done something similar, not hairspray, but a different product and I had baby shampoo detangler in my cabinet from when my little nieces were over - and it worked like a charm! Next time you're at the Dollar Store - buy a small travel bottle of it and keep it around - cuz you just never know!

this is adorable. I had a chuckle at your mix up. I was staying with my Mom once and thought I would use her spray setting stuff and it turned out to be deodorant.

I love your "tweeters"! The colors and your background really make these "tweeters" stand out!! Now to the getting ready for your day mishap, you should have just gone with it, and did something wild! Have a big hair day!!
